“Decorating this smaller Gerald in its pre-constructed form was a lot different to the fully formed larger dog I worked on. I couldn’t figure out exactly where each bit of Gerald would end up where as I drew onto the plan so I just listened to some Captain Beefheart and filled the surface area with some abstract patterns. Luckily it didn’t look too bad when he was eventually built. A doff of the cap to both Lazerian and Don Van Vliet.”
