“The idea for my Gerald came about from the thought of this being a travelling exhibition. Obviously with Gerald being a dog, I liked the phrase Walkies with Gerald which would show him being walked or otherwise travelling in unusual situations and surroundings. For this particular illustration it was the idea of being camped outside gazing at the stars.”
