“Death from above is a tip of the hat to WWII aircraft graphics. I have always been fascinated by the
graphic meanings of the icons on these planes and wanted to create my own version complete with
camouflage, pin-up girl, targets and pin striping. Nose art styling has always been a big influence in what I do so when I first got to work on Gerald it was the perfect opportunity for me to explore this type of art further.”
