A paper dog sculpture that is the mascot of design company Lazerian. The studio decided to invite designers and artists to add their contemporary and unique styles onto the paper dog sculpture. This design is by illustrator and designer James O'Connell. The front half of the dog is white , the middle has a silhouette of a woman blowing bubblegum. The silhouette is in a blue and purple colour. The back end of the dog is a silhouette of a man whose face is green and hat is a light orange

“I’m fascinated by the sense of touch and have yearned for the chance to create something both sculptural and tactile in essence. Within the piece I’ve tried to arouse curiosity from its viewer and to create a narrative based on the ever changing state of contemporary pop culture. From striking good looks to the bubblegum loving teens, I wanted to treat Gerald as a living canvas which could contain its own community or inhabitants; invoking the audience to pursue their own path through the piece.”
