A paper dog sculpture from a international design exhibition by design leaders Lazerian. Different artist and designers were invited to showcase their talents on the body of the 3D paper model. This design is by Deborah Ballinger and is a simple lace effect that she hand drew onto the paper.

Gerald Statement

“I wanted to create a beautiful and detailed surface design for Gerald that had some sort of illusion about it; from a distance it has the appearance of a simple lace texture, but on closer inspection reveals how all details are created by hand. Having that theme of handmade was very important for my Gerald, as he himself will be constructed by hand.”
